In its bid to improve health care service delivery in Ondo State, The Ondo State government has on 24 June, 2019 commissioned the Ondo State Contributory Health Commission’s Office
.
The Ondo State Contributory Health Commission Office was commissioned by the executive governor of Ondo state, Governor Rotimi Akeredolu at the State Secretariat Alagbaka, Akure. The Contributory Health Scheme is a Health System consisting of compulsory contribution and pooling of funds together to Finance Expenditure to pay for all or partly Health Services to be rendered to the beneficiary/enrollee with the purpose of providing access to affordable & qualitative health care.
Present at the commissioning are, the deputy governor of Ondo state, Mr Agboola Ajayi, the Honourable commissioner for health, Dr. Wahab Adegbenro, SSA to the Governor on Health, Dr. Jibayo Adeyeye and a host of other dignitaries.
