Affordable Contributory Health Plan


Designed for pregnant women & child(ren) under age 5
  • Abiyamo Maternal & Child Health Insurance Scheme
  • Fully funded by Ondo State Government
  • Eligibility criterion - Kaadi igbeayo (Ondo State Residency Card), which is issued free to all pregnant women
  • Antenatal care
  • Delivery - including caesarean section
  • Up to 6 weeks Post natal care for mother after delivery
  • Neonatal care - first 30 days of baby's life
  • Treatment of common illness in children under 5 years
  • Management of cervical incompetence in pregnancy
  • Anti-D injection for rhesus negative mothers
  • Choose from any of our AMCHIS providers

  • The Basic Health Care Provision Fund Programme
  • Federal & State Government funded
  • Eligibility criterion - beneficiary is captured on the state social register & the register generated from the state-sponsored targeting
  • Maternity services - antenatal, delivery, postnatal up to 6 weeks after delivery
  • Under 5 children services - neonatal care and common childhood illnesses
  • Screening for hypertension & diabetes mellitus

  • Formal Sector - Percentage monthly deductions from salaries till retirement or disengagement
